PRODUCT: Usborne - Advent Calendar to Colour (www.usborne.com)Usborne Advent Calendar to Colour

DESCRIPTION: A fold-out interactive advent calendar with windows, showing a festive street scene to colour in day-by-day in the countdown to Christmas. Illustrated by Stella Baggott. Suitable for children aged 5 years upwards.

GOOD POINTS: The Christmas advent calendar from Usborne is a wonderfully interactive way for your child to count down the days throughout December.

The advent calendar looks like a thick board book at first glance, with an attractive glossy cover depicting a colourful festive scene that will appeal to young children.

On opening, the calendar folds out to reveal a wonderfully detailed four-page Christmassy street scene, with decorated shops, houses and lots of mice! These lovely illustrations are mainly in black and white, with the odd splash of colour thrown in, and offer children an array of pictures to colour in using pens or crayons.

In addition, just like a traditional advent calendar, there are twenty-four numbered windows representing the countdown to Christmas Day. The windows come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and behind each is a further festive picture for your child to discover and colour day-by-day!

The calendar can be stood upright when folded out so that your child can display their scene, and after completing it can be folded back up and stored safely...there is even a place for them to record their name for keepsake!

BAD POINTS: None that we can find!
