DESCRIPTION: A 96-page children's activity book with a festive theme, including lots of things to spot and colour, mazes, matching pairs and odd-ones-out. Suitable for children aged 4 years upwards.

GOOD POINTS: If you're looking for something to keep your child entertained in the (often exhausting) run-up to Christmas, then Usborne Books have released a wonderfully fun and extensive Christmas activity book into which they can channel their excitement!

The book is a generous sized paperback, with a glossy elf-filled front cover, and contains a massive ninety-six pages of wonderful illustrations with a fun festive theme. These pictures are packed full of things for your child to spot, colour in or add patterns to (even the front cover has things to find and colour), including angels holding trumpets, owls wearing scarfs, Santas building snowmen and reindeer eating candy to name just a few, not forgetting the little white mouse hiding on every page!

The pictures are mainly black and white (with some colour illustrations) to provide endless colouring opportunities, and succinct lines of text on each page explain each task. In addition, the book contains a number of other fun picture puzzles for young children to complete, including matching pairs, spotting the off-one-out and tackling mazes!

In our opinion, this is a really great book to keep your child busy in the countdown to Christmas - it is bursting with wonderfully detailed illustrations, as well as masses of activities and puzzles which are pitched at a perfect level to interest, challenge and stimulate young minds!
