PRODUCT: Usborne - The Olympic Games Sticker Book (www.usborne.com)Usborne Olympic Games Sticker Book

DESCRIPTION: A 32-page sticker book with an Olympic Sports theme, including 10 further pages containing over 100 sports related stickers. Written by Susan Meredith and illustrated by Galia Berstein. Suitable for children aged 7 years upwards.

GOOD POINTS: With the Olympic Games just around the corner, what better way to get your child interested in sports than with the Olympic Games Sticker Book from Usborne.

Brilliantly educational, this book is aimed at slightly older school-aged children, and starts with a brief introduction to how the games began and how they have developed over the years.

The pages which follow then provide a complete guide to the games, with each new page introducing your child to a different aspect, including among others the venues used for the races, the different sports involves, the opening and closing ceremonies, the medals, and some of the sporting records achieved!

The book is packed full of bright colours and beautifully detailed illustrations and pictures to accompany the text, and your child can use the accompanying stickers to add the finishing touches to the pages.

There are a generous number of decorative stickers provided - located in the back pages of the book - and they contain a range of sporting events, scenes and well known athletes that children will recognise. For ease of finding, they are grouped according to the pages they relate to, with no two stickers the same!

The book is a good size, with a glossy front cover and good quality pages. In addition, a handy contents page at the front of the book enables your child to go straight to their favourite pages.

This is, in our opinion, a wonderfully informative book for young children that tells them all they need to know about the worlds oldest and most famous multi-sports event!

BAD POINTS: None that we can find.
