PRODUCT: Cosatto Hiccup Highchair (www.cosatto.com)Cosatto Hiccup Highchair

DESCRIPTION: A contemporary plastic highchair with a 5-point harness and removable washable tray. Available in Lime Zing or Orange Soda designs. Includes FREE 4-year guarantee. Assembled size is H86 x W56 x D80cm, weight 4.9kg, seat position 53.8cm. Suitable for use with children aged 6 months to approximately 3 years.

ASSEMBLY: This Cosatto highchair comes in several pieces upon purchase, and requires some simple assembly prior to initial use which is fully detailed (with step-by-step instructions and diagrams) in the accompanying user manual. The seat unit needs to be attached to the seat frame and the four legs pushed into the allocated mountings on the base of the frame. The support bar and footrest then need to be fitted onto the two rear and two front legs respectively, followed by the corresponding lower leg parts. The safety harness also needs to be fed through the designated slots in the seat, and the feeding tray slotted onto the front of the highchair (this can be removed via a catch underneath). The chair is now ready to use.

GOOD POINTS: The Hiccup Highchair is a brand new stylish feeding chair from Cosatto which is reasonably priced, lightweight and ideal for everyday use.

Cosatto Hiccup Highchair The chair is simple yet contemporary in its design, with an egg-shaped plastic seat unit, slick curves and a high gloss finish. The highchair is available in two wonderfully striking colour contrasts (lime/white and black/orange) to appeal to parent and baby, and is durable yet lightweight for easy repositioning around the house once assembled.

The highchair has four sturdy metal legs, which are spread wide to provide a safe stable base and reduce the risk of the highchair tipping whilst baby is in it, and each foot has a rubber tread to prevent it slipping on floor surfaces. A plastic support bar on the rear legs of the chair provides added stability, while a useful footrest on the front legs (also made of plastic and with the 'Cosatto' branding on the front) offers foot support for toddlers.

The seat unit itself is very easy to keep clean and has no awkward places where food spillages can lurk! The unit sits inside the main seat frame, and is smooth and moulded with an integrated crotch support which your child's legs fit either side of to prevent them from slipping out. Its high curved back and sides provide a comfortable upright support for your child's body, and a five-point harness secures them safely into the chair. This harness is fully adjustable around the shoulders and waist to cater for their shape and size, and can be easily removed from the highchair for washing.

The other great feature of the Hiccup is the large plastic feeding tray which fits easily onto the front of the seat and has a central recess to help keep food on the tray rather than on the floor! The tray can also be quickly and easily detached for cleaning, as well as for positioning the chair right up to dining table for family meals.

The Hiccup Highchair is, in our opinion, a fantastic looking glossy chair with a high quality finish which is easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to clean!

BAD POINTS: The highchair does not fold up, and is not height adjustable. The seat has no padding, and cannot be reclined so is not suitable for babies who cannot support themselves unaided.
