PRODUCT: Usborne - Big Spotter's Sticker Book (www.usborne.com)Usborne Big Spotters Sticker Book

DESCRIPTION: A 98-page wildlife spotting book for children to take out and about, containing over 300 nature stickers, wildlife facts and places to record information. Suitable for children aged 7 years upwards.

GOOD POINTS: The Usborne Big Spotter's Sticker Book is a 'spotter's guide' come sticker book in one, and will appeal greatly to older children who are interested in wildlife and nature.

The book is paperback with a colourful glossy cover, and is a handy A5 size for popping into a rucksack or bag on a day out. It is divided into five nature related sections spread across seventy-two pages - Flowers and Plants, Trees, Birds, Insects and Animals - with common descriptive parts of each explained on the first page of the section.

Each section is divided further into related subcategories which present a number of plant and animal species for your child to try and spot whilst out and about in parks, countrysides and gardens. Detailed colour illustrations are included to help them correctly identify a specimen, as well as a brief description/useful facts about each.

The book also includes twenty-six pages of lovely colour nature stickers (over three hundred in total) which correspond to each of the illustrations throughout the book. Once your child has spotted an 'item' they can find the sticker in the back of the book and add it to the page to show they have found it. There is even a space to enable your child to record when and where it was sighted.

The book contains a helpful contents page at the front, as well as a glossary and index at the back.

This is, in our opinion, a fantastically laid-out book packed full of fun stickers and educational and informative content that will inspire any child to get out and discover the wildlife around them.

BAD POINTS: None that we can find!
