PRODUCT: Usborne - Sticker Dressing: Sports (www.usborne.com)Usborne - Sticker Dressing London

DESCRIPTION: A 24-page sticker book with a sporting theme, including 10 further pages containing over 250 sports outfit and accessory stickers. One in a range of Sticker Dressing books. Written by Kate Davies and illustrated by Patrick Morize. Suitable for children aged 5 years upwards.

GOOD POINTS: This is one in a lovely range of Sticker Dressing books with a sports theme, which includes a fantastic array of stickers that young children will love using to dress up the sports characters in the book in their different sports outfits...a great warm up activity for the London Olympics!

Each page introduces your child to a different group of sportsmen and a different sporting event which they must get ready for, with delightful use of colours, illustrations and background scenes to really engage young children. These include, among others, football, motor racing, rugby, tennis, track and field, and cricket.

Your child can follow the simple text on each page and dress the characters appropriately use the stickers provided - the sportsmen even have name labels so that your child knows which kit each should be wearing.

The colourful stickers can be found in the centre pages of the book (ten pages full in total), offering a wonderful array of detailed outfits and accessories for your child to dress the characters in. For ease, the stickers are grouped according to the different sports events (with no two stickers the same) and there is lots of detail next to the stickers to identify what each item of kit is.

The book is a really great size, and its pages are made from good quality thick paper. In addition, a useful contents page at the front of the book enables your child to go straight to their favourite sport!

This is, in our opinion, a wonderfully interactive book that is likely to be popular among boys. It is brilliantly illustrated with a really generous number of detailed dressing-up stickers that are not only fun to use but also teach your child a little about each sport.

BAD POINTS: None really, other than the stickers cannot be reused.
