PRODUCT: Usborne - Victorian Doll's House sticker book (www.usborne.com)Usborne - Victorian dolls house sticker book

DESCRIPTION: A 24-page sticker book with a Victorian doll's house theme, including 10 further pages containing over 240 decorative stickers. Written by Ruth Brocklehurst and illustrated by Emanuela Carletti. Suitable for children aged 5 years upwards.

GOOD POINTS: The Victorian Doll's House Sticker Book is one in a range of fabulous interactive sticker books from Usborne.

Brilliantly thought-out, the book starts with a brief introduction to the house and a wonderfully descriptive floor plan of each level. The pages which follow provide a guided tour of the rooms, with each new page introducing your child to a different part of the house, including among others the drawing room, games room, kitchen, conservatory and maid's bedroom to name just a few!

The book is packed full of bright colours and beautifully detailed illustrations that set out the basic layout of each room, and your child can use the accompanying stickers to add some fun and ornate detail to each scene.

There are a generous number of decorative stickers provided - located in the centre pages of the book - and they contain a range of ornaments, clothes, toys, furniture, and other items to accessorise the house. For ease of finding, they are grouped according to the different areas of the doll's house, with no two stickers the same! What's more, these sticker pages provide some wonderfully informative titbits of information about some of the items on show.

The book is a good size, with a glossy front cover and good quality pages. In addition, a handy contents page at the front of the book enables your child to go straight to their favourite part of the house.

This is, in our opinion, a delightful and informative book which any young girl will have hours of fun decorating, observing and enjoying.

BAD POINTS: None really, other than the stickers cannot be reused.
