DESCRIPTION: A 3-in-1 three-wheel travel system which caters for newborns through to young children. Includes automatic unfold chassis, adjustable height handle, reclining pushchair seat, cosy toes, bumper bar, basket, pushchair hood, pram body and mattress, pram hood, raincover, and changing bag. Available in cherry red or ember grey. Suitable from birth. Dimensions are as follows:

Pram body:
L78 x W33 x H18cm, 4.4kg
Chassis:
L108 x W62 x H30cm, 8.2kg
Pushchair body:
H47 x W33 x D21cm, 4.2kg

ASSEMBLY: The pushchair requires some simple assembly prior to use. The two rear wheels and the front wheel all need to be slotted into designated holes on the frame until they click into place, and the pushchair seat/pram body secured to the chassis using simple-to-use connection points.

If using the pram, the fabric body must be attached to the pram frame using quick and easy zip attachments. The pushchair and pram hoods are both simple to fit, and click into each side of the pushchair seat/pram body. The bumper bar slides into mouldings on either side of the stroller. All the various attachments can be removed easily using release buttons.

If using the cosy toes, the harness must be unlocked and the shoulder and crotch straps threaded through. No tools are required for any of the assembly, and the instructions are detailed with clear Cosatto Budi 3-in-1 Combidiagrams.

GOOD POINTS: The Budi 3-in-1 really is a wonderful travel system, which is stylishly designed and very quick and easy for parents on the go! It has a substantial well-built frame and durable, washable covers which are attached and removed quickly using a clever system of zip fastenings. Two attractive designs are available - a bold red or more subtle grey.

The Budi has two modes - pushchair or pram. The pram mode is suitable for newborns and the pram body is easy to erect following the instructions. A lie-flat padded mattress provides a comfortable bed for your baby to sleep on, and a concertina style pram hood (with pocket and top window) folds forward to keep your baby sheltered from the elements.

The pushchair mode can be used when your child reaches six months and a useful feature of the Budi is that you can choose to have the seat inward as well as outward facing, which is ideal if you like to be able to see your child when travelling (or vice versa!). Changing the position over is a quick and simple process using the release buttons on the connection points. In either the forward- or rear-facing position, the seat can be usefully tilted from a sitting position for older children, through to a semi-reclining and fully-reclining position for younger or sleeping children. An integrated footrest provides additional support.

The pushchair seat has a secure five-point harness which can be adjusted to suit your child’s age, height and size, and a removable bumper bar gives extra security as well as providing a useful attachment for toys. The bar is adjustable and can be tilted up or down to suit your child. A warm and very substantial footmuff keeps your child snug in the pushchair in colder weather, and has an efficient zip opening on the front of the apron which allows you to access your child easily and without fuss. The front of the apron can be detached completely in warmer weather to provide a seat liner.

The pushchair seat also comes with its own pull-down canopy, similar to the pram hood, to provide shade for your child, and an elasticated raincover is also included, which can be fitted over both the pushchair and the pram to shelter your child from wet weather.

Other great features of the Budi Combi are an adjustable padded handle to cater for parents of all heights, and a very spacious basket secured to the chassis, which is detachable and has a zipped cover to keep contents secure and dry. A handy pump and spare inner tube are also included in the basket in case of emergencies!

The Budi 3-in-1 is great to manoeuvre, thanks to a well designed chassis, good suspension, and a front swivel wheel. Usefully, the front wheel can be locked into a fixed position to aid transit over even surfaces. The rear wheel brake can be locked and released using a large pedal on the centre of the frame.

It is also very easy to operate and the chassis unfolds automatically by pressing down the buttons located on each side of the handle tubing. Folding the chassis is just as easy using the turning release catches (although it can only be folded in pushchair mode). Once folded, the handles lock onto the back axle, and the wheels can be removed if desired for easy storage.

In our opinion, this is a trendy and stylish travel system, which is well designed with an excellent quality and finish, and which effectively caters for all your and your child's needs.

BAD POINTS: The car seat is not included in the price and must be bought separately. The chassis is heavy and, as with other travel systems, is more bulky to stow than some of the lightweight strollers.
