Press Release: Fresh Horizons for Outback camping

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

Two new tents in the latest Robens Outback range have plenty of appeal with families and friends looking for a large, durable and comfortable Robens Twilight Horizon Tentbase camp tent with a strong technical heritage for outdoor adventures.

The distinctive-looking Twilight Horizon and the Midnight Horizon are both four-berth tunnel tents that use Robens’ own highly breathable HydroTex Polycotton fabric that has a water repellent treatment. The quality fabric balances external temperature fluctuations so that the interior of the tent feels cool in hot weather and warm as the days cool. Its breathable nature also helps to eradicate condensation.

To ensure comfort and peace of mind both tents have alloy poles to save weight while maintaining strength, the Robens Storm Guard guying system for extra stability in high winds, and a sewn-in groundsheet for extra protection against bugs and draughts.

The Twilight Horizon has a large living area and two windows with drop-down curtains, one each side of the front door. The Midnight Horizon has a large living area and additional side doors with windows. Each tent features the new zip-in ‘blackout’ four-berth bedroom designed to be both quick and easy to install – the Midnight Horizon’s bedroom can be divided into two two-berth compartments. An optional one-person inner can be placed in the front porches of Midnight Horizon for additional accommodation.

The popular and unique Vista tunnel tents, with their stunning eyebrow pole that enhances stability, continue into 2013 with the addition of the new zip-in bedrooms. Completing the package is the supremely simple, but effective, 4mx4m Tarp is a fast pitching, versatile sun and rain shelter, with many different functions and uses beyond its primary camping focus.
