ToyNews Launch Toy & Game Inventors Workshop to Introduce Aspiring Toy Creators to Leading Toy Brands

ToyNews, the leading magazine for the Toy industry published by NewBay Intent Media, is offering aspiring toy and game inventors the unique opportunity to present their original ideas to heavyweights in the Toy & Game Industry.  Budding inventors are invited to a one-day conference and business networking event in September where attendees will have the chance to share their invention with the hope of securing a once in a lifetime deal with a leading Toy & Game company.

The Toy & Game Inventors Workshop will take place at Rich Mix, Bethnal Green Road, London E1 on Monday, September 22nd and is open to everyone with an amazing Toy or Game idea, whether it is a design on a piece of paper, a prototype or a product pending patent.

The event will provide both practical advice to delegates, along with the opportunity to actually get their ideas and inventions in front of leading toy manufacturers, distributors and retailers.

Keynotes speeches from toy industry trailblazers will kick-off the day inspiring delegates with their stories of taking an idea and turning it into a multi-million pound product. The morning conference will also offer valuable sessions on legal, toy safety, manufacturing, retail and marketing issues. After lunch, delegates will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas and inventions to representatives from leading toy manufacturers and distributors.

Cost is £299 per delegate, with the ticket price including access to the conference, a free lunch and the opportunity to pitch. An early bird ticket price of £249 is valid until June 30th.

"There are thousands of inventors and would-be inventors who are desperate to get their toys and games to market, but need advice and an in-road into the toy industry," said Lisa Carter, publisher of ToyNews. "We have been running pieces on a number of these inventors in ToyNews over the last few months, and the reaction we have had from the industry has been overwhelmingly positive.

"This event will actually give them the chance to get first hand advice from toy manufacturers and distributors, as well as pick up invaluable tips from the conference programme."
