The LEGO® brand has unveiled a giant map of the world made by 4,000 visitors to Southbank Centre, London over the Olympic period.  For the past three weeks, tourists and locals alike, young and old have been busy building and adding their own section to the impressive 12 by five metre map as part of the summer-long Festival of the World celebrations.

Featuring more than one million LEGO bricks in 21 different colours and 4,000 building plates, and surrounded by a boundary wall made up of 4,800 LEGO® DUPLO® bricks, the map was designed by the UK’s only Certified LEGO Professional, Duncan Titmarsh.

The LEGO world map, located on the Riverside Terrace outside the Royal Festival Hall will be on display until 26th August.
