Official testerPRODUCT: Orchard Toys Where in the Wood? jigsaw ( Toys Where in the woods

DESCRIPTION: A 150-piece jigsaw puzzle for young children with a woodland discovery picture theme. Dimensions of the puzzle are 60.5cm x 41cm (24" x 16"). Suitable for children aged 5 years upwards.

GOOD POINTS: The Orchard Toys Where in the Wood? jigsaw puzzle is not just a fun puzzle for your child to tackle but an excellent opportunity to test their observational skills by searching for the wildlife pictured around the puzzle border!

Due to the larger number of jigsaw pieces included (150 pieces), the jigsaw is aimed primarily at school-aged children who are more accomplished puzzlers. The pieces have a very sturdy durable design, and are still generously sized to enable little hands to easily handle, perfect for encouraging fine motor skills and dexterity.

The completed puzzle is rectangular in shape, and depicts a wonderfully detailed woodland theme. What's more, around the border of the puzzle is a variety of different plants and animals (shown in pictures and words) for your child to search and identify within the puzzle

The brilliant use of bright vibrant colours and fantastic illustration is really engaging and very visually stimulating, and the completed puzzle will encourage lots of discussion and questions for both parent and child to ask.

The puzzle comes in a very handy storage box with carry handle. The packaging is, as always, very colourful, and on the back contains some great ideas for activities and questions to promote discussion and develop your child's observational skills.

In our opinion, this is a lovely educational activity for children, with lots to spot and much to stimulate young imaginations.

BAD POINTS: None, other than there are lots of separate pieces which may be easily lost over time, as with any such puzzle.
