PRODUCT: Fisher-Price Chatter TelephoneFisher Price Chatter Telephone (www.fisher-price.com)

DESCRIPTION: A pull-along plastic telephone on wheels, with rolling eyes, ring-round dial, and pick-up receiver. Suitable for children aged 12 months upwards.

GOOD POINTS: This is a classic old-style telephone that children love making pretend calls with. The body of the telephone is mainly white and blue, with a red receiver which is attached to the phone by a small cord and can be removed from its resting position for pretend play. The top of the phone has a multicoloured panel, upon which sits the telephone dial. The dial holes are just the right size for small fingers to operate, and a realistic tinkle sounds as the telephone number is dialled!

The phone has four red wheels on its base and a short cord attached to the front end to allow it to be pulled along behind your child. A friendly face is printed on the front of the toy, with moving eyes which roll up and down as the phone is towed around.

In all, the toy is excellent for encouraging plenty of imaginative play, and the good quality design means it is sturdy and able to withstand rough toddler play.

BAD POINTS: The cord attaching the receiver to the phone is very short for putting up to your childs ear, although this is undoubtedly for safety reasons.

PRICE: Approx. £7
